Oneida - https://oneida.bandcamp.com
Oneida has long straddled gray area boundaries between the NYC punk/psych/rock world and the art/experimental world, playing at gritty rock clubs and elevated cultural institutions, including the Guggenheim, MoMA PS1, ICA London, MassMOCA and the Knoxville Museum of Art. The band has been known for extended live improvisational performances, collaborating onstage with Mike Watt, members of Flaming Lips, Portishead, Boredoms, Yo La Tengo, Dead C, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, and many others.
Spiral Wave Nomads - https://twinlakesrecords.bandcamp.com/album/spiral-wave-nomads
The Spiral Wave Nomads is a new psych duo comprised of two musicians with active histories inside the New England sub underground with guitarist Eric Hardiman and drummer Michael Kiefer. Their set is a lovely sprawl of electric guitar improv (aided in spots by bass, sitar and double-tracked guitar) mixed with elegantly tumbling drum work, guaranteed to illuminate many tunnels of spiraling trip-time. Parts may momentarily recall Rangda at their most lysergic, but the crossed-eyed way the two players have of busting up and hanging on to shards of melody and rhythm is all their own.
Ben Seretan - https://benseretan.bandcamp.com
We changed his bio with "Ben" wherever it said "I" on his website... "Ben makes music - different types, more often than not with a guitar, some singing, songs and atmospheres and installation type pieces - and in the past couple of years Ben has been more into writing prose/essays/poetry. Ben likes things that are long or too much or over the top or too personal or bursting at the seams. Ben likes music that changes very slowly over time or is repetitive. Ben likes things that like life. Ben likes music that changes a room." We like these things too that's why we booked Ben for this show.
